Flight 93 Memorial

Today I was albe to make it to the Flight 93 memorial in Shanksville, PA.

It was a very dreary day. The sky was overcast, the wind was blowing, and the chill of fall was definally in the air.

There is an angel and flag for every person who died in the crash. Around the angles hang necklaces, rosaries, trinkets, letters from parents, children, and siblings, and photographs.

Home Makeover III

We finally put the shutters on...one step closer to being finished

Haley and Savannah

In case some of you haven't seen my cute little nieces lately here are some photos taken back in July...

These girls go nuts over wristbands!!!!

See what I mean???

Haley loves her "Uncle Bob". Just look at that pretty smile :)

Haley loves to swim, especially in her "princess" bathingsuit.

While filling up the pool Haley sprayed and soaked Savannah with the water hose. Did she get upset? Not a chance. She just wrung out her shirt and kept playing.

We took Haley shopping for a her birthday. The first stop was the Disney store of coarse but Haley and Savannah loved going to Claire's too.

Home Makeover II

The house is almost done...we still need to put up the shutters. Here is how the house looks with the siding and new windows.

Since this photo was taken I've thinned out the bushes in the front. We've also taken down the bell and we're putting it to the side of the house.

Home Makeover I

We have bought the house we were renting and now we are giving it a face lift. We've put in new windows and have sided the house. Now all we have to do is put up the shutters!!!

BEFORE

Here is the house when we moved in. It had wood siding and old drafty windows. The bedrooms had small 18 inch windows...
