Christmas Eve in North Carolina

Christmas Eve 2005

A
fter returning from Washington we drove to NC to celebrate Christmas with my Mom and Dad, brother Ryan, sister-in-law Thankful, niece Haley, and niece Savannah.

Thankful; Bob

Jill & Savannah Bananas; Ryan

On the night of the 23rd my dad (Papa) was in the yard and he heard something on the porch. He yelled "Hey you, get out of here!". All of a sudden a man in all red took off running. BUT in his hurry the man dropped 8 gifts, one for each of us on the porch. Haley and Savannah went out and found them. They were so excited and they couldn't believe Papa scared Santa away. Luckily Santa came back that night and left more presents under the tree for the girls.

We had a big Christmas Eve dinner together before Ryan, Thankful, and the girls left.
